Terms of service

1. Who we are

TONTRIA Clips (“the Service”) is operated by MUSICA & ENTRETENIMIENTO SRL, Montevideo, Uruguay (“TONTRIA”, “we”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, label or artist, you confirm you can accept them on their behalf.

2. What the Service does

TONTRIA Clips edits your own videos and audio: it turns them into short clips with captions, lyric videos, release assets, Spotify Canvas loops and edited videos. It works on the material you upload or link. It does not generate images or video from text prompts. Some features use AI to transcribe speech and singing, pick moments and suggest texts; you review the result before you publish it.

3. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required where you live) and give accurate information. Keep your password safe: you are responsible for what happens in your account, including the activity of team members you invite.

4. Your content and your rights

You keep all rights to what you upload, link and create. You may only use content that you own or have permission to use — including the permissions of labels, publishers, performers and the platforms it comes from. You give TONTRIA a limited licence to store and process your content only to provide the Service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

Content you import from a link. If you import a video from a link (for example, YouTube), the first time you do it you confirm that you own the rights to that video or have permission from whoever does, and we keep that confirmation with its date. Only public or unlisted videos can be used. You are responsible for the content you import and for having the permissions it needs; TONTRIA does not review videos before they are processed.

Takedown requests. If you are a rights holder and believe something made or stored in TONTRIA Clips infringes your rights, write to tontria.ai@gmail.com with a link or description of the content, who you are, and what shows that you hold the rights. We review each request and, where appropriate, remove the content and suspend the account involved.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • upload, link or create content you have no rights to, or that infringes copyright, trademarks or other people’s rights;
  • create illegal, defamatory, hateful or sexual content involving minors, or content that harasses or impersonates someone;
  • break the terms of the platforms you publish on or download from;
  • attack, overload, scrape or try to get around the limits and security of the Service, or resell it without our agreement.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we cooperate with rights holders and the authorities when the law requires it. To report content, write to tontria.ai@gmail.com.

6. Plans, credits and payments

Prices are in US dollars. Paid plans renew automatically every month or year until you cancel. Each plan includes monthly credits (1 credit = 1 minute of video or audio processed); unused plan credits do not carry over to the next month. Extra credit packs do not expire while your account is active. Payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record, which charges your card and handles taxes and invoices. We may change prices for future periods and will tell you in advance.

7. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Plan and credits in the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and then your account moves to the free plan. Refunds follow our refund policy.

8. Free plan

Exports on the free plan include a TONTRIA watermark and are limited to 720p.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and your files safe, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free; keep your own copies of your original files. We may change or remove features; if a change affects a paid plan significantly, we will tell you in advance.

10. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, TONTRIA is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

11. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from My account in the app. We may close accounts that break these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uruguay. Courts there have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country.

13. Publishing to social platforms

When you connect an account on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or X, TONTRIA publishes only the clips you send or schedule, with the text and settings you choose. You must follow each platform’s rules; by using the YouTube features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Each platform decides whether it accepts or limits a post. These terms add to the TONTRIA terms of service, which apply to every TONTRIA product.
